Experience Rooted In Service

As a lifelong Parsons resident, my understanding of public policy comes from both education and firsthand experience. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in legal issues and a minor in public policy/law enforcement at Pittsburg State University.

I began working in healthcare at 16 and have since worked with children with autism and served as a case coordinator for youth in the Kansas foster care system. I am also the founder of The American Advocacy Initiative and president of Safe Haven Outreach Mission, a homeless shelter serving individuals and families in Parsons.

Through these roles, I have worked directly with families, caregivers, nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, social-service agencies, and community leaders. I have seen where our systems succeed, where they fail, and how decisions made in Topeka affect people in rural Kansas. I am running to bring that experience and the voices of the people I have served, to the Kansas Legislature.

In these leadership positions, I have helped develop community programs, build partnerships, pursue grant funding, manage limited resources, and bring organizations together to address needs that too often fall through the cracks.
